I think Tommy will appreciate it!

Great job on this!

Rorrapalooza responds:

Hey, thanks again, man! Haha, I had a fucking blast making this song, honestly. Thanks for the 10!

You had me at the drums....

Those percussions are awesome!! I love them! The effects being used on those synths really blend well with everything else. Great job!

JackRocker responds:

Wow man, thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it! It's nice to have fellow producers review my tracks, because if they like it, it means it was a good track, and if not, I can actually get constructive criticism on how to improve. Thanks again man!

I laughin with you, man!

Man, you did some SHIT with this sample...

You chopped it beautifully..

Damn, man...This is soo tight. I had to dl this..

So right..

DJEPITOME responds:

Thanks Bro,

Yeah, I Was Going For Minimalist, But When I Heard This Sample, I Realized I Could Arrange It To Make Her Say "Love Me/Im Clean/ Etc.."

Its Actually Supposed To Have An Underlying Story, But Expressed Through This Beat.

The Story Follows This Girl And Her Drug Problem, And Her Man Wont Stand For It.
So She Gets Clean For HIm, But He's Already Fed Up, And Leaves Her. Shes Devastated, And Cant Live Without Him. So She Tries To Overdose And Kill Herself. Then Her Man Comes Back, Apologizing And Saying He Cant Leave Her Because He Loves Her Too Much, But Finds Her Dead On The Floor. Then The Sax Part Is Supposed To Be Her Floating Away From Her Body. As She Gets To Her Afterlife, Shes Met By Her Man, Who Killed Himself Because He Didnt Want To Live Without Her. Death Is Forever, And It Ends With Them Spending It Together.

Where ever you are...

I'm there right now..

Vibin the SHIT out of this...

Kamikazi1 responds:

Haha thanks my dude!

Dilla/Nujabes

Actually I love this! The bass is just too rich! I really like the sample and the melodic loops used. I really like this one, man!

DJDureagon responds:

Thanks dude. im glad someone likes it. I am re-evaluating my feelings on this one, but the samples are definitely dope. Thanks fo rthe review.

You do say fucking a lot, lol

But, I do think your flow is sounding a lot better, even if you are reading off a paper.

I agree with QSik on the vocals, they get drowned out, still.

HeIsAlive responds:

:D
lol.

Hmmm

I actually think the other version's vocals were louder, actually. Although the quality of the music in this one is better.

If I had to vote on the two, I would go with the other version.

HeIsAlive responds:

Yeah, I am going to edit the vocals, they are quiet.
Better on a headset lol.

Love the bass..

Great job, man

Sounds like this one's going to be a nice one. Switched up your style some, and I like what you did. Great work on this, dude

HeIsAlive responds:

Thanks bud. Im glad you like it.

I think what EternalXII is saying is

I think he's talking about the drum pattern itself when he mentioned your drums. The mixing part is about all the instruments used. They do need to be mixed better..I'm STILL learning techniques for that, fyi. So you don't think I'm sitting on this high pedestal.

There are just soo many kicks being used in one pattern. That's throwing me off, IMO. If you eased up on the number of kicks(sounds so mainstream, which I'm not a big fan of...), I think the song would definitely be an easier song to listen to. You can still have your kicks with a lot of bass, just ease up on the number of kicks per pattern.

I'm not a big fan of orchestra strings being used in beats, but I think you did a fine job with the arrangement.

I think it's a nice start, just need some work to be perfect, I think.

DJ-Heretic responds:

Yeah, i know what you guys mean. Sorry i took so long to respond lol. I try to keep it touch.

I don't know where this sample came from :(

But this beat is off the charts, man. Damn, dude... Definitely too hot..

Crueltool responds:

I would like to be in charts, but HOW ?

I'm taking a journey to learn the art of creating great, clean, soul-moving music and beats. My influences are JDilla, Black Milk, 9th Wonder, Madlib, you know..producers of that mindset. So, if you're one of those guys that like "Radio" hip hop, not here
