I tend to listen to the words as well as how well they go with beats and tempo.

Word wise, they both were great.

beat/tempo and enunciation went a step further, I think.

His flow was just on point to a "T"

I assume you are referring to the guitars. I used GuitarRig 4, loading up different retro-styled presets and tweaking them around until i got a good sound, then did some finishing touches with native Renoise DSP effects.
