I know it has been a while. I've been terribly busy with my fulltime job and many music project demands. I'm at a point now where I can be on here more on a periodic basis now.
I have finally released my first Solo project after really trying to get my arrangement and engineering skills up.
I have so much love and respect for the Ace Attorney Series and OST, that I decided to do remix projects. This is the first volume of the remix series. I plan on doing a volume each year.
Here is the link to Volume 1:
Volume 1 was released on 11/12. It's also available for free download as well. I hope my respectful feelings are portrayed in this project, and people are able to share the love that I have.
I would love to get some reviews on this as well. Great to see you again!
This place had really dampened my spirits last year, so I decided to leave the negativity and focus on growing before I came back.
A lot has happened since then.
I've been studying the science behind mixing and engineering.
The collab group "For the Love of Music" has really been flourishing and producing some great collabs.
I started a collective (much like the Native Tongues) called True School Collective and we released our first mixtape to celebrate the occasion on 1/31/12 called The Beginning (mixtape can be found here: TSC - The Beginning)
I have quite a bit collab of projects (4 mixtapes/3 single songs) and several others in the works after
I have done 2 interviews (1 on internet / 1 on radio)
So yeah, things have really been busy.
So now I'm back and I wanted to give the toughest critics of all a taste to see where I stand.
I'll also be back to provide better feedback since my ear has developed more.
I'm hosting a facebook group called "For the Love of Music" to bring artists, producers, .etc together to make great music and collabs.
I would love for you musicians to join and get together to keep making that GREAT music!
It isn't geared towards a specific genre, fyi.. ;)
Here's the video that explains the group:

This is an announcement to introduce my evolved persona as Artonius Tsetsuna. Even though I'm still growing, I feel as if I'm really starting to find my craft bit by bit. All thanks goes to you guys!
Here's my introduction video:
I hope you enjoy!
Here's the mp3 version:
Leave a review to vote on the MC Knock Out.
To vote on the other battles:
I'm going to use Tag Team as an example here. So, to vote on the Tag Team battles what you first must do is listen to every Tag Team track. Go and read the rules for the Tag Team battle and then rank your top 3 submissions according to the rules specified. For the Tag Team you want to look at how MC's used the words, whether they pronounced and used them right, their flow, their rhymes, the content, and more. Then you want to look at the producers, how well they used their topics, and the over all quality of the track. Type up a paragraph justifying your decisions for your three top tracks. Eventually we will tally everyone's results and declare winners!
Then post your decision of the results on BigRed's newspage. As usual, keep discussions in the audio forum thread.
What Your Vote Should Look Like
Big Red's Tag Team Votes
1st - Username
Description of why Moe is so ill.
2nd - Larry
Blah blah blah
3rd - Germaine
A panel of judges will decide upon the winners of the art competition. Feel free to note your top three still as the judges will still read through the votes.
I know I was very defensive in the first several months of my stay here in NG. But, through all of that, I was still listening.
I think I'm really starting to find my craft some and where I need to keep going. The issue wasn't that I didn't have an ear for stuff, I just didn't know the process of how I could achieve the quality you were looking for.
Now, I think I'm on the right track, and it's all thanks to you guys!
So, thank you from the bottom of my heart...
I may not always get the backing that I should get, but I really do like being different.
I love to take samples that no one even thinks of beginning to TRY to use. Stuff that's that so far out of the norm...
If you're with me, stand up!
That has been one of my flaws... I care about what other people think too much. Even though I know that my likes and feelings will always be in a class of their own..
Like always, it seems like everyone always just LOVES the mediocre stuff I do, and not a fan of the stuff that I think is just amazing...
So, I'm just going to chalk it up to once again my musical equilibrium being on a different level until someone else comes in doing what I did years ago and all of sudden people see it finally and catch up. That ALWAYS happens to me....
I'm just going to make music how I fuckin like it....
If you don't like it, fuck it...
This shit is supposed to be fun and relaxing anyway. I ain't trying to get a record deal or some shit...
EternalXIII is holding a Jdilla contest here:
I was so excited about this contest that I ended up making 3 different songs....
Of course, I will only submit one to the contest, But, just by sheer excitement sparked 3 songs!
I will just post the other two to NG.
How excited are you?
I've learned a great deal since I joined NG, and I really think you guys will hear the fruit of that this year. I'm working on some amazing stuff, and really pushing the envelope.
Thank you guys that helped me last year, and I hope to continue growing this year and reach a new plateau.
More to come soon!
